Job Description

1. Housekeeping Duties

  • Clean and sanitize common areas, guest rooms, lobbies, and kitchen spaces.
  • Ensure all service apartment units are well-maintained and guest-ready.
  • In charge of laundry duty to make sure clean supplies of bedroom linens.
  • Inspect linens for stains or damage and apply appropriate stain-removal techniques.
  • Keep laundry machines and workstations clean and in good working condition.
  • Report any equipment malfunctions or maintenance issues to the supervisor.
  • Follow safety procedures when handling laundry chemicals and equipment.
  • Restock housekeeping supplies, including toiletries and linens.
  • Handle waste disposal and maintain a hygienic environment.
  • Perform routine inspections to ensure cleanliness and safety standards.

2. Sous Chef & Breakfast Preparation

  • Prepare and serve breakfast with multiple options for guests.
  • Ensure food presentation and taste meet high standards.
  • Monitor kitchen equipment and coordinate maintenance as needed.
  • Assist in creating and updating breakfast menus.
  • Develop special seasonal menus and promotions to enhance guest experience.
  • Monitor food costs and ensure proper portion control.
  • Collaborate with the procurement team to source high-quality ingredients at optimal costs.
  • Ensure the kitchen adheres to Singapore Food Agency (SFA) regulations and National Environment Agency (NEA) standards.
  • Conduct routine inspections to maintain hygiene and food safety protocols.
  • Implement and enforce kitchen Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
  • Manage allergen awareness and special dietary requirements for guests.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen and dining areas.
  • Assist in setting up and clearing the breakfast service area.

3. Guest Service & Support

  • Respond to guest requests related to housekeeping and breakfast services.
  • Provide a welcoming and friendly environment for guests.
  • Address any maintenance or cleanliness concerns promptly

Requirements

  • Prior experience in housekeeping, janitorial services and food preparation is an advantage.
  • 4 years' experience in F&B industries with culinary skills, especially in breakfast preparation.
  • Knowledge of cleaning products, sanitation protocols, and food hygiene.
  • Degree or diploma in a relevant field such as hotel management & culinary are preferred.
  • Ability to multitask and manage time efficiently.
  • Strong attention to detail in both cleaning and food preparation.
  • Good communication and guest service skills.
  • Physically fit for housekeeping tasks and working in a kitchen environment.
  • Familiarity with inventory and cost control
  • Able to commit to 6-day week, start work at 5am, covering PH/weekends and non-office hours
  • Physically fit to perform lifting, standing, and cleaning tasks.
  • Exposure to cleaning agents, heat, and kitchen equipment.
