- Align the education strategy with the stock allocations and commercial needs of the markets (Premium SKU focus)
- Support the markets in developing commercially successful relationships with premium on and off trade channels and customers (Fine Wine Retail, Premium Hotels, Fine Dining Venues etc)
- Best in class hosting events, masterclasses, trainings & media engagement to drive sales of Penfolds.
- Drive a focus on the Power 5 wines and I&L tiers of Penfolds with internal and external stakeholders.
- Develop strong relationships with key customers and partners and support their sales activities with education, events and materials
- Work with the market teams to engage with collectors, connoisseurs and HNWI consumers to drive awareness and sales of Penfolds in this lucrative DTC channel
- Be the authority on Penfolds in the region and the key point of contact for all stakeholders seeking brand and product information.
- Work in collaboration with the brand team, create the winemaker visit itineraries to ensure maximum ROI.
- Be responsible for monitoring, adapting and updating Penfolds Brand and Education materials for all markets to ensure consistent quality and messaging.
- Where required create bespoke education material for our distributors and customers.
- Oversee any material translation where required.
- Minimum WSET Level 3 or similar wine education qualification
- Degree or diploma in Business, Economics or similar discipline, or equivalent
- Premium wine industry experience
- Excellent communication skills to deliver brand stories fluently and with confidence
- Considerable experience hosting trade and consumer Fine Wine events
- Commercial acumen and understanding of a target driven business
- Building strong relationships and a good collaborator
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- A self starter who can work well alone or within a team
