What the role is:As a specialist in cybersecurity (application security), you will help to ensure the security of our business application through conducting/coordinating various application security testing, review and enhance security processes and provide recommendations. You will have opportunity to expand your influence by working closely with various stakeholders, building internal competencies on application security and work on new application projects e.g. IAST, DevSecOps integration.What you will be working on:OWSAP, Insecure Deserialization, Broken Authentication, Server-Side Request Forgery (SSRF), SHA-3, AES-256, Cross Site Scripting, SQL Injection, Use after Free, Memory Safe Programming Languages, 2FA, Weak cipher, Web Application Firewall, Asymmetric & symmetric encryption, Residual Risk, PKI … If you know what we are talking about, you are the one we are looking for!What we are looking for:You are structured, systematic and skilled in synthesizing trends and insights and can put forth creative mitigation plans and solutions to security incidents in a collaborative environment. Requirements:  Degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Engineering, or related disciplines.  Minimum 2 years of relevant working experience in application security, with software development past experience an added advantage.  Strong interest and passion for the field of infocomm security, specifically in the area of application security and good knowledge on web security  Relevant industry recognised certifications e.g. OSCP, OSWE.  Preferably also experience in conducting risk assessment, threat modelling and 3rd party management (e.g. managing and evaluating security implementation of 3rd party vendors).  Good and effective presentation, communication and writing skills.About Urban Redevelopment Authority:The Urban Redevelopment Authority (URA) is Singapore's national land use planning authority.
