Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate CNC machines effectively to produce precision parts according to specifications.
  • Program, set up, and operate CNC Milling and Turning equipment independently.
  • Interpret and work from engineering drawings and blueprints.
  • Perform routine maintenance on CNC machines to ensure optimal functioning.
  • Conduct inspections and quality checks on machined parts using measuring tools.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve minor issues with machining processes.
  • Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies in the workshop.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace to support efficiency and safety.

Experience Required:

  • At least 2 year(s) of working experience in the related field
  • Has preferably CNC Turning Machine and Precision Engineering background
  • Has relevant experience in the metal fabrication, semi-conductor industry
  • Able to interpret Mechanical Drawing
  • Set-up individual tools for machine operation in CNC Turning Machine
  • Work according to the production plan and to maintain operation efficiency
  • Carry out in process measurements and to maintain product quality
  • Monitor process/machines and troubleshoot/report any deviations to respective personnel
  • Maintain the cleanliness of the work place according to company 5S Policy
  • Maintain continuity among work teams by documenting and communicating actions

Education/Qualification

  • At least a Higher Nitec or equivalent in Mechanical or Precision Engineering or a related field.
  • Proficient in CNC programming and operation, with specific experience in Turning and Milling.
