Job Description:Position SummaryThis position is responsible for physical and technical tasks related to Data Center Infrastructure equipment.Primary Responsibilities
  • Perform physical and technical tasks of intermediate & escalated complexity on Data Center infrastructure equipment including but not limited to servers infrastructure, network infrastructure, or other equipment on the DC floor, without immediate supervision.
  • Work alongside Technicians in installing, troubleshooting, and maintaining servers, networking equipment, and cabling (requires moving and racking equipment)
  • Fix broken servers (replace hard drives, replace bad sticks of RAM, etc.).
  • Use hardware/software tools and workflows (automation) in support of these tasks.
  • Strictly follow all policies, processes, and procedures related to the activities and data center environment.
  • Perform maintenance on a timely basis with adequate recordkeeping.
  • Maintain equipment in running order with minimal downtime.
  • Ensure a safe working environment and perform maintenance in a safe manner.
Requirements
  • NITEC in IT or technical based qualifications.
  • Familiar and comfortable using and working with IT equipment and software.
  • Experience in repair of electronics components of computers.
  • Scissor lift license would be an added advantage.
Working hours: Mon to Fri, 8:30am to 6pm
