We are seeking a dedicated and qualified candidate to join the 'Implementation of Decade of Healthy Aging Action Plan to Screen and Prevent Decline in Intrinsic Capacity in Elders (SPICE) Through Multisectoral Collaboration' team. This role involves working with older adults to assess and improve their intrinsic capacity, based on WHO guidelines. The ideal candidate will collaborate with study team, community partners, Active Ageing Centres, and Community Health Posts to assess, implement and monitor care plans.Job Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments of older adults based on WHO Intrinsic Capacity domains including questionnaires for detailed assessment.
  • Develop and implement personalized care plans to address identified needs and prevent decline in intrinsic capacity.
  • Work closely with community partners, Active Ageing Centers, and Community Health Posts to deliver coordinated care.
  • Provide training and education to participants, volunteers and community partners on healthy aging and prevention strategies.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary discussions to enhance the effectiveness of the SPICE program.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with participants, their families, and volunteers, ensuring a respectful and compassionate approach.
  • Perform venipuncture and other clinical tasks as required.
Job Requirements
  • Possess at least a Bachelor's degree in science, nursing or equivalent
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience in geriatrics and preventive health is an advantage.
  • Ability to perform venipuncture.
