What the role is:You perform threat collection and analysis to provide early warning on cyber threats and situational awareness of information leakage or compromised systems.What you will be working on:- Monitor social media platforms, messaging channels and online forums frequented by cyber threat actors known or likely to target MINDEF/SAF and/or the Defence sector - Prepare intelligence reports and disseminate to relevant parties - Procure, develop and implement technical solutions that can be used to enhance threat collection operations Challenge(s) - Thinking out-of-the-box, improvising and adapting tools and techniques for effective threat collection operations - Being able to thrive in a high-tempo environmentWhat we are looking for:- Education in Information Security, Computer Science, or Electrical/Electronic/Computer Engineering-related field - At least three years of work experience in cybersecurity and/or military intelligence related field is preferred - High motivation and fast learning capacity - Strong team player mindset - Initiative to enhance operational effectiveness Only shortlisted candidates will be notified.About MINDEF:The mission of MINDEF and the Singapore Armed Forces is to enhance Singapore's peace and security through deterrence and diplomacy, and should these fail, to secure a swift and decisive victory over the aggressor.
