  6. Make sure Off is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.

Scope Of Responsibility

The said Engineer shall be responsible for the Planning, Project Support and Implementations, Systems Administration and Operations Support to ensure that the implemented and/or existing systems, services, and applications meet users and company’s expectations. Ability to multi-task and prioritize in assigned tasks, team- oriented environment.

Required qualification and skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or related field;
  • At least 5 years of experience in a similar role in an ENTERPRISE ENVIRONMENT .
  • At least 6 years of Windows Servers and Microsoft core infrastructure technology implementation and hands-on administration in Windows Server 2012 and above;
  • At least 5 years of hands-on experience on VMWare (VSphere 5.1 or above);
  • At least 5 years of working experience on 24x7 operations support including on-call (standby duties);
  • Strong knowledge of Windows server, active directory, M365, and other IT systems and applications
  • Knowledgeable with the operation of ELK platform (Elasticsearch, Logstash and Kibana) – ideally 1+ years of experience
  • Experience in administrative and routines tasks; adherence to IT policies and security standards and able to organize resources to solve issues/requests;
  • Knowledgeable with the operation of Microsoft Exchange servers;
  • Experience in performing end-user computer support on windows platform; and
    • Working knowledge of GPO administration

Responsibilities

  • To administer all Microsoft Windows/VMWare platforms and related services availability, performance, security, and competency in order to ensure Service Quality and end user satisfaction.
  • Microsoft Windows Server platform management (~150 instances) for:
    • Central infrastructure servers (e.g. Active Directory, AD DNS, VMWare infrastructure, VDI, etc);
    • Windows Server services related to the market trading systems and applications, e.g. Market Clearing Engine (MCE) trading application and Internet Information Systems (IIS), on-premise mail relay, etc;
    • Office365 suite (e.g. E-mail, Teams, etc); and
    • Corporate Services (e.g. Finance systems, SharePoint, File and Print, etc).
  • To manage Elastic Search Clusters on premises
  • Management of outsourced Deskside Support Team that supports about 100 end users and 160 end user devices (located at company main office and BCP offices);
  • End user software deployment (Tanium) and license compliance; and
  • Budgeting and procurement of services, hardware, licenses as required for services under care.
  • Plan, arrange and perform operating systems/software upgrades and patching, abiding by Change Management cycle.
  • Proactive Capacity Management and Planning
  • VMware, virtual machines and/or physical servers); and
  • Proactive Availability Management and Planning
  • Perform health checks of all hypervisors and objects in vCenter;
  • Monitoring and rectification of reported alarms;
  • Backup/Restoration management;
  • Resource bottlenecks (e.g. CPU, Memory, Disk, Network, etc); and
  • Snapshot management.
  • Plan and consolidate patch schedule (e.g. Hardware Firmware patches, ESXi patches, VMware tools version, etc); and
  • Perform patch and software version upgrade.
  • Identify and document dependencies between various domains (e.g. network, systems, applications or databases);
  • Inventory, assets and license tracking and updates to ensure compliance;
  • Support periodic audit review exercises by providing the required information and to perform the remediation actions to close all audit findings; and
  • Track inventory of Assets
  • Produce, update and/or build Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) and validate actual procedure execution; and
  • Participate and/or supporting of scheduled periodic DRP/BCP exercises.
  • Provide/review solutions in terms of systems architecture, design and configuration and propose recommendation to Technology department management for approvals;
  • Lead infrastructure related projects (e.g. Tech refresh, new infrastructure services);
  • Participate as project members for key application and/or infrastructure projects; and
  • Manage vendors/contractors to ensure implementation is in accordance to stipulated requirements, service/system SLA and project deliverables are met, provided timely and sufficiently
