Job Description:
  • This position is for Office of Finance (OFIN).
  • Financial Reporting
  • Review the financials of the offices monthly to ensure accuracy, completeness, and appropriate presentation.
  • Prepare regular financial performance reports in compliance with standards and regulations.
  • Evaluate the financial performance with relevant stakeholders to determine any actions to be taken.
  • Provide financial training / guidance to the department's management team (e.g. HODs, division heads, budget co-ordinators).
  • Support budgetary control, including monitoring of fund utilisation and performing system budget/fund transfers.
  • Post accounting & allocation entries necessary for effective management reporting.
  • Handle queries from departments on financial systems, budget matters and other information.
  • Planning & Analysis
  • Facilitate departments' budget & forecast submissions.
  • System administrator for budgeting system.
  • Support FP&A in management reporting and analysis.
  • Support long-term financial model.
  • Business Partnership
  • Be the central point of contact for the partner Admin offices on all financial matters
  • Enhance awareness and adherence to financial policies
  • Build strong, effective relationships across departments to ensure their needs are addressed and finance policies are understood
  • Process Improvement
  • Align and streamline processes within and across SOCI to achieve consistency and efficiency.
  • Support system migration and UAT where necessary,
  • Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
  • Degree in Accountancy or Business, preferably with CA qualifications.
  • At least 3 years of relevant experience.
  • Successful track record in business partnering and financial planning & analysis (FP&A).
  • Keen interest in driving process improvements.
  • Familiar with SAP usage and data extraction.
  • Familiar with MS Office and BI tools (e.g. Power Query, Power BI).
  • Strong inter-personal and communication skills.
  • Able to work independently and handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Fluent in both written & spoken English.
