- Prepare design of structures, including but not limited to the design of modular buildings, prefabrication and Design for Manufacturing and Assembly (DfMA).
- Carry out the structural analysis and design including Finite Element analysis, design and preparation of detailed design reports, calculations and drawings.
- Coordinate with BIM modellers and technicians for the preparation of BIM models and drawings aligned with the client's requirements and design intent.
- Prepare project deliverables and submissions to authorities.
- Design management and coordination with other design disciplines.
- Carry out onsite supervision and quality assurance.
- Act as a mentor for junior colleagues.
- Participate in bids and tenders.
- Perform other relevant tasks that may be assigned by the management.
- Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering;
- 7 to 10 years' experience in structural design, preferably in consultancy firms;
- Working experience and/or knowledge and interest in Modern Methods of Construction (MMC), modular design, PPVC, precast, steelworks and MET;
- Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and in writing;
- Proficiency with common structural design software e.g. ETABS, SAP2000, SAFE;
- Knowledge or interest of parametric software for structural optimisation (e.g. Rhino, Grasshopper) is an advantage;
- Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills;
- International mindset and an ability to drive collaboration across construction disciplines, both within Ramboll and externally;
- Strong analytical skills and ability to develop practical solutions;
