Job Description & Requirements
Responsibilities:
Architect and manage AWS environments (VPC, EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, etc.)
Automate deployments and IaC (Terraform, CloudFormation)
Integrate AWS services with on-prem and third-party systems
Implement security best practices (IAM, patching, vulnerability scans)
Set up backups, DR, and high availability strategies
Monitor performance (CloudWatch) and troubleshoot issues
Collaborate on CI/CD pipelines and document solutions
Qualifications
5–7 years of AWS experience
Must have: AWS Solutions Architect, AWS SysOps, ITIL Foundation
Proficient in AWS core services, networking, and security
Skilled with scripting (Python/Bash) and IaC (Terraform, CloudFormation)
Experience with containerization (Docker, ECS) and server administration
Strong DevOps, troubleshooting, and cost optimization skills
Familiar with ITIL processes and flexible onsite availability
- Administer and troubleshoot Windows Servers, preferably Windows 2008 R2, Windows 2012, and Windows Server 2003.
- Install Windows servers with strong troubleshooting skills for Wintel systems, including system hardening and security measures.
- Perform advanced administration of Windows Server, including Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and High Availability configurations.
- Understand RAID configurations, assess the pros and cons of various RAID levels, and make informed decisions based on system requirements.
- Configure, administer, and troubleshoot Microsoft clusters.
- Work with various storage solutions, particularly for cluster configurations (preferred but not mandatory).
- Manage SAN environments and storage space from a systems perspective (preferred but not mandatory).
- Oversee file system and quota management.
- Handle FTP and SFTP client-server models with experience in configuration and administration.
- Install and implement VMware ESX servers, VMware Virtual Center, V-Motion, HA, DRS, and related VMware products such as VMware Workstation, VMware Converter, and VM backup solutions.
- Provision, operate, and maintain systems running on AWS.
- Skills and Qualifications
- Ability to identify and gather requirements to define solutions for AWS-based systems.
- Expertise in AWS operations, deployment guidance, and best practices throughout the project lifecycle.
- Experience in application and data migration to AWS.
- Strong understanding of ITIL processes.
- Experience: 5 - 8 years of system administration experience is mandatory.
- Educational Qualification: Graduate in Engineering, Science, or Diploma in Computer Science.
- Certifications (Preferred): Any two of the following – MCSE, VMware Certification.

The ideal candidate will have expertise in Hyper-V, VMware, and Nutanix technologies, along with hands-on experience in managing enterprise backup and storage systems. Candidates with experience working within Whole-of-Government (WOG) environments will be highly preferred.Key Responsibilities:
- Architect, deploy, and maintain Nutanix-based infrastructure solutions.
- Oversee and enhance Hyper-V and VMware environments for optimal performance.
