- Responsible for overall monthly end to end R2R team and processes (including accounting activities in GL and sub-ledger systems, bank, intercompany etc).
- Ensure timely, accurate and complete monthly closing.
- Support the preparation of statutory financial statements including notes to accounts.
- Promoting continuous improvement and change mindset, supporting Head of Finance Shared Service in identifying and implementing process improvements, innovation and further automation opportunities with RPA, automation tools.
- Leveraging on investments made within existing technology to drive measurable process efficiency and productivity.
- Maintain and develop financial control frameworks ensuring all policies and procedures are adhered and proper controls are in place.
- Work closely with all relevant stakeholders/functions/finance partners to ensure high quality of the ledgers and full compliance with accounting policies.
- Manage performance of R2R team members ensuring processes are standardized, documented while KPIs used to demonstrate delivery with service levels are met or exceeded.
- Manage development and performance of team to achieve high level of efficiency.
- Degree holder in accounting and/or finance or professional qualifications.
- At least 5 years of working experience in a similar capacity within a shared services set-up.
- At least 2 years of supervisory experience
- SSC migration experience is preferred, with pioneer Shared Services set up
- Meticulous, analytical and a high degree of agility.
- Proactive in resolving matters, while being able to manage time effectively.
- Highly committed and able to work independently.
- Stakeholder management; strong in communication and negotiation skills with the ability to work in a fast-paced and collaborative environment are essential.
- Experience in Business central (Accounting software), RPA (Uipath) is preferred.
