Job Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support project team in the development and management of construction works for RWS 2.0 Expansion.
  • Manage the facade design process, including coordinating with architects, engineers, and other consultants including stakeholders.
  • Carry out pre-qualification and tender evaluation process to appoint suitable facade specialist(s).
  • Coordinate with cross functional business units, project managers, consultants and monitor progress of work on site.
  • Coordinate with the project team to ensure facade installation is integrated with other construction activities.
  • Identify and mitigate risks associated with facade construction.
  • Manage and resolve facade-related defects and issues.
  • Work closely with Employer's Representative to ensure project completion within the set budget, schedule and conformance with Contract Documents.
  • To work with contract and costing team on contractual claims/ obligations/ variation orders.
Stakeholder Communication & Coordination:
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for consultants and contractors of assigned scope.
  • Liaise with Business Units to operate thee works at an optimum level.
  • To minimize operational disruption/loss of income during the execution of projects.
  • Communicate project progress to senior management and key stakeholders.
  • Address and resolve project-related conflicts and issues.
Compliance & Safety Management:
  • Ensure compliance with local building codes, regulations, and industry standards
  • Implement and enforce safety policies and best practices on-site.
  • Conduct regular site inspections and risk assessments.
Quality Control & Project Delivery:
  • Monitor construction quality and ensure adherence to specifications. Ensuring that project QC checks are done and aligned with the approved TIP.
  • Conduct regular site visits and audits to maintain project standards.
  • Ensure timely project completion while maintaining high-quality standards.
  • Oversee final inspections, project handover, and closeout documentation.

Job Requirements

  • Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture or related field.
  • At least 10 years of relevant experience working on large-scale development projects.
  • Proven track record of successfully managing facade projects, including design, procurement, and installation.
  • Strong knowledge of facade systems, including design, construction, and maintenance
  • Knowledge of Building Information Modelling (BIM) and its application in facade design and construction.
  • Meticulous, highly motivated and independent individual with excellent team spirit, communication and interpersonal skills
  • Knowledge and understanding of regulatory frameworks, institutional procedures, and the roles of relevant authorities, agencies, and procurement requirements will be advantageous
  • Proficiency in project management software (e.g., Primavera P6, MS Project, etc).
