As an Intern, Supply Chain Process & Digitalization Expert you will support the following key tasks in collaboration with experience team members.Process & Digitalization Expertise: Serve as a subject matter expert in Warehousing, Transport, and Foreign Trade, driving digitalization and efficiency in supply chain operations.S/4HANA Roll-Out & Implementation: Support the S/4HANA roll-out across I2D, Transport, and Foreign Trade, ensuring a seamless process transformation and smooth system adoption in the APAC region.Extended Warehouse Management (EWM) Optimization: Act as a process expert for User Department (UD) roll-outs, ensuring best practices in warehouse operations and system efficiency across the region.Customer Direct Delivery & LDC Replenishment: Identify business opportunities for direct deliveries and logistics distribution center (LDC) replenishment. Lead cross-functional initiatives to enhance supply chain efficiency, optimize lead times, and reduce costs.Foreign Trade Compliance & Process Tracking: Oversee Foreign Trade (FT) processes at the regional level, ensuring compliance with trade regulations, process visibility, and alignment with industry standards.Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 10+ years of experience in supply chain, logistics, or warehouse management.
- Hands-on experience in SAP S/4HANA, EWM, and Transport Management Systems (TMS).
- Familiarity with APAC trade regulations and compliance frameworks.
- Strong background in Warehousing, Transport, and Foreign Trade, with a focus on digital transformation and process automation.
- Proven experience in rolling out supply chain modules (S/4HANA, EWM, Transport Management, etc.), ensuring smooth user adoption.
- Deep knowledge of Extended Warehouse Management (EWM) and transport planning for operational efficiency.
- Ability to assess, justify, and implement warehouse and logistics decisions (e.g., direct deliveries, replenishment models).
- Expertise in Lean methodologies, process optimization, and logistics automation.
- Strong ability to analyze complex supply chain challenges and deliver data-driven solutions.
- Ability to define and implement KPIs, ensuring alignment with supply chain objectives.
- Experience in multi-country supply chain operations preferred.
