Job Overview

We are looking for a dedicated and proactive Assistant Teacher to support our main trainers in conducting engaging and interactive learning sessions for children. The ideal candidate will assist in classroom management, ensure a positive learning atmosphere, and actively participate in activities to enhance the children's learning experience. This role requires traveling to different training centers across Singapore.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist the main trainer in managing the classroom effectively.
  • Engage with children during activities to create a fun and enjoyable learning environment.
  • Gently guide children back to the activity if they become distracted or wander off.
  • Address any misbehavior calmly and firmly while maintaining a positive and respectful environment.
  • Monitor children's interactions and promptly intervene in case of accidents or potential conflicts to ensure their safety.

Compensation Details

  • The hourly rate is $20 per hour.
  • Sessions shorter than 60 minutes will be rounded up to a full hour.
  • For sessions exceeding one hour, pay will be calculated by the minute.

Requirements

  • Passion for working with children and creating an engaging learning environment.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to remain patient, calm, and proactive in managing children's behavior.
  • Willingness to travel to different training locations across Singapore.
  • Prior experience working with children (preferred but not required).
