We are looking for our Manager Operations / Senior Manager Operations to join Ardmore in Singapore.
Responsibilities:
Provide Masters with necessary guidance for cargo care, safety of navigation and environmental protection for the safe prosecution of their voyages. To act in concert with and support the Technical and Fleet Personnel Departments in all operations matters, including handling accidents and causalities, nautical advise and so on. Monitor around all the tankers under charge to make sure they are in compliance in matters related to regulations as well as Quality, Health, Safety and Environment (QHSE).
- Review the audit reports from internal auditors and escalate if there are any complicated or serious issues
- Maintain the Safety Management System (SMS) documents to make sure they are up to date
- Review the investigation report, come up with improvement plans and cost analysis based on the investigation reports
- Monitor the voyage progress and make sure the issues are resolved by efficient communications
- Monitor the insurance of cautionary notices on operational and navigational matter, port information etc.
- Participating in contingency plans / emergency responses
- Handle charterers, Oil Majors, vetting, and approval matters.
Job Requirement
- To have Master’s F.G. Certificate of Competency
- Minimum 1 year command experience on board
- Chemical experience mandatory.
