Position Summary

Facilities Associate Engineer is responsible to work with Facility Engineers and Facility Operations / Maintenance team to inspect machinery status at various plant rooms, take log readings, support Facility Operations, assist to building maintenance in need, supervise external contractors and vendors during their maintenance works. Major responsibilities include to ensure safe at work, adhere to EHS processes, inspecting PTW pertaining to maintenance activities in the plant rooms.

Candidates with Semiconductor, Solar, LCD industrial automation industries or smart factory experience are encouraged to apply for this position.

Responsibilities

  • Manage operating plant equipment log reading and review accuracy.
  • Supervise facilities contractors and guide them to execute safe work while on duty.
  • Attend daily toolbox meeting and ensure correct Permit to Work given to contractors.
  • Ensure team approach to support facilities systems perform effectively which includes day-to-day operations, monitoring alarms, and response.
  • Follow through facility department and EHS implemented programs leading to improve safety, quality, and cost.
  • Participate in all improvements works related to preventive, predictive and condition-based maintenance programs.
  • Proactively identify improvements and make use of information systems that increase efficiency and effectiveness of the maintenance team and maintenance tasks.
  • Ensure that a safe, reliable, and collaborative work environment is a top priority, and is managed effectively and maintained, including contractors.
  • Manage vendors and contractors regards to operational and maintenance Standard Operating Procedures and ensure compliance to SOP while working at SB plant.
  • Utilize existing databases for coordinating and tracking work.
  • Be a key contributor in the Facilities disaster management and business recovery process.
  • Any other ad-hoc duties as assigned.

Requirement

  • Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in semiconductor, solar, or similar manufacturing environments.
  • Proficient in handling materials containing hazardous chemicals.
  • Highly self-driven, motivated, and capable of independently managing and prioritizing facility department goals and objectives.
  • Capable of managing multiple tasks simultaneously, ensuring timely results and optimal reliability.
  • Proven expertise in preventive management to maintain flawless operation of facility systems.
  • Able to work both day and night 12 hours rotating shift.
