Head of Marketing
The Head of Marketing is responsible for the overall marketing strategy across businesses pillars (both B2C and B2B channels) ensuring the brand resonates with diverse audiences, drives business growth, and supports both customer acquisition and retention. The candidate will be leading and developing the team in optimizing marketing efforts based on data and ensure alignment with business objectives.
Job Responsibilities:
Strategic Planning and Direction
- Marketing Strategy Development: Develop and implement comprehensive marketing strategies for both B2C and B2B segments that align with the company’s overall business goals.
- Budget Allocation: Manage marketing budgets effectively to ensure resources are allocated optimally across campaigns, channels, and initiatives for both B2C and B2B.
- Brand Positioning & Messaging: Oversee the creation of clear brand positioning and messaging strategies that resonate with different audiences (B2C vs. B2B) and differentiate the company in the market.
- Cross-Channel Strategy: Develop integrated marketing strategies across digital (social media, SEO, email, content), traditional media, events, and other channels for both consumer and business audiences.
Team Management and Development
- Leadership: Lead and mentor a diverse marketing team, including digital marketers, content creators, graphic designers, and others. Foster a collaborative and results-driven culture.
- Performance Monitoring & Reporting: Set clear KPIs and track performance across all marketing campaigns. Ensure the team meets deadlines and achieves set goals.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with other departments (sales, product, customer service, etc.) to ensure marketing efforts are aligned with organizational objectives.
- Recruitment: Hire and build a high-performing marketing team by identifying top talent and building strong recruitment processes.
Data-Driven Decision Making
- Analytics and Reporting: Use data analytics tools and performance metrics (e.g., ROI, conversion rates, customer lifetime value) to evaluate the effectiveness of marketing campaigns.
- Optimization: Continuously test and optimize marketing strategies, channels, and tactics based on data insights, ensuring continuous improvement and innovation.
- Customer Feedback & Market Trends: Collect and incorporate customer feedback and track market trends to adapt marketing efforts and stay competitive.
Innovation and Trend Spotting
- Adoption of New Technologies: Stay ahead of marketing trends, leveraging new marketing technologies, AI-driven mobility solutions, automation tools, and platforms to enhance marketing performance.
- Creative Problem Solving: Encourage creativity in developing new marketing initiatives that capture consumer and business interest, while ensuring they are scalable and measurable.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Business, or other related field; MBA preferred.
- 10 years of marketing experience, with at least 5 years in leadership roles.
- Strong commercial leadership experience in mobility, transport or platform businesses
- Proven track record in market positioning within competitive markets by developing and implementing successful marketing strategies across B2B, B2C, and corporate marketing channels
- Strong analytical and strategic thinking, with a capability to make decisions based on data insights.
- Excellent negotiation and stakeholder engagement skills with experience working with corporates, government entities, and tech partners.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex concepts to a variety of audiences.
- Experience working in fast-paced and dynamic environments.
- Strong project management skills and attention to details.
