The ideal candidate will own the entire production process, from overall planning and scheduling of food production for our food manufacturing division; and will also run quality assessment to ensure customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities:
- Plan and manage the schedule to efficiently streamline the production operations.
- Plan equipment, raw material, and manpower requirements to execute job orders.
- Allocate job orders to workstations to fulfill the work orders and ensure stock levels remain adequate.
- Coordinating all production activities and operations with the kitchen in-charge.
- Work with the R&D Chef in-charge on new recipes and their food cost, to formulate the production process (SOP) for each work station.
- Work closely with internal stakeholders to determine and fulfill required orders (e.g. new product launch, daily projection).
- To work with IT department and vendor on the improvement of the Production Planning System.
- In-charge of the Production Kitchen equipment and machinery repair and maintenance.
- Working with the logistics team to ensure daily delivery arrangements are in order, and monitoring their manhours to achieve delivery requirements.
- Oversee the stock inventory to ensure efficiency and productivity of the Production Kitchen.
Skills/Qualifications:
- Diploma in Business / Process Engineering / Supply Chain Management
- Prior experience in Food Manufacturing / Production will have an added advantage
- Min 5-6 years of relevant working experience
- Strong communication and coordination skills
- Team player and self-driven
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment
- 6 days work week
