  • Entry-level with a Degree in Chemistry.
  • Location: Jurong Island
  • Salary: up to $3,000 + $750 Shift Allowance + Transport Allowance + AWS + VB + Flexi Benefits
  • Comfortable with 12 hours rotational shift (7.15 am 7.15 pm/ 7.15 pm 7.15 am)

You will conduct routine and non-routine analyses to support process control and quality on-site.

Responsibilities

  • Plan, organize, and perform quality control (QC) analysis of raw materials, in-process, and finished products using established testing methods.
  • Coordinate QC activities to meet the needs of other departments and the business.
  • Make daily decisions based on QC results, ensuring accuracy, and troubleshoot as needed to ensure correct results.
  • Proactively identify and implement improvements to QC products and systems.
  • Lead short-term projects (up to six months) involving non-routine analysis, including investigating customer complaints that may involve multiple departments.
  • Calibrate equipment and maintain records following standard procedures.
  • Communicate accurate results promptly to relevant departments to ensure product quality aligns with customer specifications.
  • Provide guidance to plant operators in the lab and take full responsibility for the QC lab outside normal working hours.
  • Supervise and train new QC team members on products and testing methods.

Skills and Qualifications

  • Degree in Chemistry, fresh graduates are welcome
  • Chemical lab testing experience during internship will have added advantage
  • Comfortable with 12 hours rotational shift (7.15 am 7.15 pm/ 7.15 pm 7.15 am)
