- Drive guideline/practice change via key opinion leader (KOL) engagement, evidence generation, evidence dissemination and training.
- Develop key clinical and stakeholder insights to inform development and execution of the SM CASAJ Regional Medical Affairs Strategy, working collaboratively with cross functional associates.

- Strong technical and scientific capabilities in diagnostics and medicine. Ability to find, read, understand, interpret and explain complex clinical and scientific information in English.
- Understanding of clinical care and diagnostic decision-making is essential.
- Ability to design clinical studies and evaluate study design and study results. Basic understanding of biostatistics is required.
- Strong business acumen and strategic thinking, excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to identify and validate unmet clinical needs, evaluate product opportunities from a medical perspective, and help develop strategies that leads to efficient development of such opportunities.
- Ability to effectively communicate clinical insights and technical information to colleagues of varying technical backgrounds, in order to inform business strategy and decision making.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (verbal, presentation, written).
- Ability to influence and work collaboratively across a matrix organization, with the establishment of credibility and strong working relationships with cross-functional teams.
- Ability to build, develop and maintain strong relationships with KOLs and other external thought leaders.
- Ability to create and deliver presentations of medical and scientific data to small and large audiences.
- Ability to communicate in an additional language from the CASAJ region (i.e. Japanese, Korean, Bahasa Indonesia, Thai, Vietnamese, Tagalog) is advantageous.

- Excellent organizational and project management skills; attention to detail.
- MD, MSc or PhD in bioscience discipline.
- More than 3 years related experience in a field related to Lab medicine, Clinical biochemistry, or Diagnostics.
- Deep understanding of Laboratory Medicine and how clinical laboratories operate.
- Understanding of and experience with Hospital infection control and nursing committees is desired.
- Diagnostics/ MedTech/ Pharma industry experience in a Medical Affairs, Clinical Marketing or Applications role is advantageous.
- Demonstrated scientific writing skills, and successful manuscript submission to peer-reviewed medical journals.
- Travelling within the region is required. Between 30% - 50%.
