What the Role Entails

Tencent Cloud is seeking a Senior Strategic / Channel Sales Executive to drive business expansion and strengthen direct sales or channel partnerships in Singapore. This role is ideal for sales professionals with a strong track record in cloud services, SaaS, and enterprise solutions. You will be responsible for developing new business opportunities, managing key accounts, and collaborating with channel partners to accelerate cloud adoption. Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute sales strategies to drive revenue through direct client engagement and channel partnerships.
  • Identify and build strong relationships with key enterprise customers and partners, leveraging market insights to expand Tencent Cloud’s footprint.
  • Lead contract negotiations in collaboration with the Business Contracts Manager to ensure successful deal closures.
  • Meet and exceed sales targets, ensuring continued revenue growth and maximizing market share.
  • Manage the full sales cycle, from lead generation to closing deals and post-sales account management.
  • Enable and support channel partners, providing training and resources to enhance cooperative selling opportunities.
  • Analyze market trends and customer needs, crafting strategic sales plans to position Tencent Cloud as a leader in cloud services.
  • Work closely with technical teams to ensure customers and partners receive the highest value from Tencent Cloud solutions.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business, or related fields.
  • 5+ years of experience in cloud services sales, with a strong track record in enterprise account management and/or channel development.
  • Proficiency in cloud computing, CDN, SaaS, and the broader internet ecosystem.
  • Excellent proficiency in both English and Chinese Mandarin to liaise with internal teams and external stakeholders.
  • Proven ability to generate leads, close deals, and build high-impact client and partner relationships.
  • Experience selling to C-level executives, with a history of securing high-value contracts.
  • Strong technical acumen, with the ability to articulate complex cloud and SaaS solutions.
  • Data-driven mindset, leveraging insights and market trends to develop effective sales strategies.
