Responsibilities
- Drive Sales Growth: Identify and target new business opportunities for Maps Open API adoption across industries (e.g., logistics, e-commerce, mobility, IoT).
- Client Engagement: Build and nurture relationships with key decision-makers, including CTOs, product managers, and developers, to understand their technical and business needs.
- Solution Selling: Articulate the value of our API’s features (e.g., geocoding, routing, real-time data) through tailored demos, proposals, and ROI analysis.
- Pipeline Management: Own the end-to-end sales cycle—from prospecting to negotiation and closing—while consistently exceeding quarterly revenue targets.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with product, engineering, and marketing teams to relay customer feedback and align strategies.
- Market Insights: Monitor competitive trends, industry developments, and customer pain points to refine sales approaches.
- Account Management: Ensure client success and renewals by addressing post-sale needs and identifying upsell opportunities.
Qualifications
- Experience: 3+ years in B2B sales of APIs, SaaS, or technical solutions (experience in maps, GIS, or developer tools is a plus).
- Technical Aptitude: Ability to grasp technical concepts (APIs, SDKs, integration workflows) and communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Proven Track Record: History of meeting/exceeding sales quotas in a fast-paced, metrics-driven environment.
- Relationship Builder: Strong consultative selling skills with a focus on solving client challenges.
- Adaptability: Thrive in a dynamic startup-like culture and navigate complex sales cycles.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, or a related field.
Preferred Skills
- Familiarity with developer ecosystems, cloud platforms (AWS, Azure), or location-based services.
- Existing network in industries leveraging mapping technologies (e.g., ride-hailing, delivery services).
