Job Description:
Demand Forecasting
- Collect, analyze, and validate sales data to improve forecasting accuracy and inventory planning.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align inventory strategies with promotions, campaigns, and market demand.
- Provide demand projections, inventory insights, and supply chain recommendations to support product launches.
- Continuously refine forecasting methodologies by integrating new data and market insights.
Supply Chain Management
- Develop and execute reorder plans based on sales forecasts and actual demand to maintain optimal inventory levels.
- Implement strategies to manage slow-moving or excess inventory, minimizing losses and maximizing profitability.
- Oversee shipping plans for finished goods, ensuring timely and cost-effective inventory movement from suppliers to final destinations.
- Coordinate stock transfers between warehouses to optimize inventory distribution within the supply chain network.
- Identify and mitigate potential supply chain risks, such as stock shortages and delivery delays.
Performance Analysis
- Evaluate SKU performance and contribute to decisions regarding product discontinuation and inventory adjustments.
- Analyze supply chain network costs to identify efficiency improvements and cost-saving opportunities.
- Track and monitor key supply chain KPIs, including shipping lead times, freight costs, and 3PL efficiency, to drive continuous improvement.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 3-5 years of experience in supply chain management, inventory planning, or demand forecasting.
- Experience in e-commerce or retail supply chains is a plus.
- Proficiency in Excel and data analysis tools for reporting and decision-making.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret and validate data for forecasting and inventory management.
- Solid understanding of supply chain principles, logistics, and demand planning.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with experience working cross-functionally.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
