Account Executive
We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Accounts Executive to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing day-to-day accounting operations, ensuring accuracy in financial records, and supporting the company’s financial reporting processes. This role requires strong analytical skills, proficiency in accounting software, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Accounts Payable and Receivable:
- Process invoices, payments, and receipts accurately and in a timely manner.
- Monitor and follow up on outstanding payments from customers.
- Reconcile supplier statements and resolve discrepancies.
Financial Reporting:
- Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Generate financial reports for management review.
Tax Compliance:
- Prepare and file GST returns in compliance with Singapore tax regulations.
- Assist in corporate tax preparation and liaise with external auditors as needed.
Ad-hoc Duties:
- Any other Ad-hoc Duties assigned by superior.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum 2-3 years of relevant accounting experience, preferably in a similar role.
- Knowledge of Singapore Financial Reporting Standards (SFRS) and GST regulations.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in work.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Professional certification (e.g., ACCA, CPA) or in progress.
- Familiarity with Singapore tax laws and compliance requirements.
