Job SummaryWe are looking for Data Platform Engineers who are passionate to harness the power of data to drive impactful decision and build robust data platforms in Cloud. You will have a pivotal role in designing, developing and maintaining our data infrastructure. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure our data platform is scalable, secure and optimized for performance. This is a 2-year contract engagement where you will have opportunities to work on cloud native stack.Job ResponsibilitiesKey Responsibilities include:
  • Design and implement data architecture, pipelines and ETL processes.
  • Develop and maintain data platform, dashboards to support analytics and reporting.
  • Ensure data quality, reliability, and availability across all data platforms.
  • Develop and implement IAC and CICD to streamline and automate the deployment process.
  • Collaborate with Business units, data scientists, analysts, and other stakeholders to understand data needs and deliver solutions.
  • Optimize data storage and retrieval processes for efficiency and performance.
  • Provide L3 support for in-house development work and data platform/warehouse.
Job RequirementsRole Requirements are:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
  • At least 3-5 years of experience in data engineering or related roles.
  • Proven experience in building data platforms in Cloud.
  • Strong proficiency in SQL, Python, and other relevant programming languages.
  • Hands-on experience with IAC and Cloud services such as terraform, BigQuery, Dataflow, Kafka and Pub/Sub will be a huge advantage.
  • Familiarity with data modelling, ETL processes, and data warehousing concepts.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
