We are seeking a dynamic and results-drivenBusiness Development Managerto lead initiatives in identifying and engaging with business partners to drive growth. The ideal candidate will have a strong sales acumen, excellent communication skills, and the ability to execute strategic plans effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and develop new sales opportunities inAirfreight, Ocean Freight, and Transportationservices.
- Proactively hunt for new business opportunities while maintaining strong relationships with existing clients.
- Conduct sales meetings, service calls, and proposal presentations to drive business growth.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders at the country, regional, and global levels to align strategies and optimize solutions.
- Develop and implement strategic plans to ensure long-term business success.
To be successful in this role:
- Proficiency in English and Mandarin - this role will interface with regional external stakeholders that only speak Mandarin, and as such bilingual skills are preferred to perform the job effectively
- Proven experience in sales and business development within the freight and logistics industry.
- Strong networking, negotiation, and relationship management skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a cross-functional team.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Strategic thinker with a results-oriented approach.
