Role Overview
We are looking for a highly creative and detail-oriented UI Designer to join our team. You will play a crucial role in crafting visually compelling and user-friendly interfaces for our web and mobile applications. Your work will directly impact user engagement and retention, helping shape the look and feel of Powtain’s platform. Experience in graphic design is a plus, as you will also contribute to marketing materials and branding.
Key Responsibilities
• Design and implement intuitive, aesthetically pleasing, and functional user interfaces for web and mobile platforms.
• Collaborate closely with product managers and developers to ensure cohesive and effective design solutions.
• Develop and maintain a comprehensive design system, including brand guidelines, style guides, and reusable components.
• Conduct user research and usability testing to refine design decisions and enhance user experience.
• Translate complex concepts into simple, engaging, and user-friendly visual designs.
• Create graphics, illustrations, and visual assets for marketing campaigns, branding, and promotional materials.
• Stay up to date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices to ensure innovative and modern UI solutions.
• Iterate on designs based on feedback and data-driven insights.
Qualifications
• 3+ years of experience as a UI Designer, ideally in social media, UGC, or fast-paced startup environments.
• Strong portfolio showcasing a range of UI design work for web and mobile applications.
• Proficiency in design tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe Creative Suite, or equivalent.
• Solid understanding of design principles, typography, color theory, and layout composition.
• Experience working with design systems and maintaining UI consistency across a platform.
• Strong graphic design skills, with experience in creating illustrations, icons, and marketing visuals.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and adapt to fast-paced environments.
• Strong problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail.
