- Check installations of static equipment, coating, painting, piping, electrical systems, etc
- Review installation to ensure compliance with construction drawings
- Ensure installation has adequate space with operation and maintenance considerations
- Inspect pressure vessels, storage tanks etc and ensure safety devices are properly installed
- Active role in technical discussions with contractors and equipment suppliers
- Witness the commissioning of rotating and non-rotating equipment
- Proper record keeping of all inspection/witness activities carried out
- Perform inspection for defects clearing.
- Ensure defects are cleared before signing off
- Carry out other inspection/witness activities as assigned.
- Diploma/Degree in Mechanical or relevant field
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in similar role with Power, Petrochemical plant or heavy industries projects
- Knowledge of MS Office applications (e.g., Word, Excel)
- Good interpersonal and communication skills
- Able to work independently with a strong sense of responsibility
- Able to work as a team
- Experience in handling EPC contractors and equipment suppliers will be an advantage.
