Junior IT Technician (1.5-Year Contract | Training Provided | Potential Full-Time Conversion)

Job Description: We are looking for a Junior IT Technician to assist with IT support and technical services. This is a 1.5-year contract role, with the possibility of full-time conversion based on performance and business needs. No prior experience is required—training will be provided!

Responsibilities:

  • Assist with basic maintenance and repair of IT equipment and peripherals (printers, scanners, etc.).

  • Respond to customer/user issues and provide on-site support under supervision.

  • Help with setting up and installing IT hardware, including system configuration, cloning, and basic administration (training provided).

  • Support system and server upgrades, migrations, and maintenance with guidance from senior technicians.

  • Gain hands-on experience working with networking and POS systems (training provided).

  • Learn to troubleshoot technical issues, check logs, and assist in resolving errors.

  • Assist in repairing or replacing system parts on-site or at repair centers.

  • Provide field support, such as conducting site surveys and installations, with guidance.

  • Diagnose and fix minor hardware and software issues while learning to provide effective solutions.

  • Perform routine preventive maintenance to ensure systems run smoothly.

  • Participate in structured training sessions to build IT skills and technical expertise.

  • Handle other IT-related tasks as assigned by the team.

Requirements:

  • Interest in IT support, technical troubleshooting, and system maintenance.

  • Basic understanding of computers and hardware is a plus (but not required).

  • Eager to learn and develop technical skills (training will be provided).

  • Ability to work in a team and follow guidance from senior technicians.

  • Willing to commit to a 1.5-year contract, with the possibility of full-time conversion based on requirements.
