Retail Sales Associate Job Duties:
· Serves customers by helping them select products.
· Drive sales through engagement of customers, suggestive selling, and sharing of product knowledge.
· Greets and receives customers in a welcoming manner.
· Respond to customers’ questions.
· Engage customers when escorting them to racks and counters.
· Provide outstanding customer service and provide information for warranty.
· Document sales by creating or updating customer profile records.
· Manages financial transactions.
· Processes payments by totaling purchases, processing checks, cash, and store or other credit and debit cards.
· Alerts management of potential security issues.
· Assists with inventory, including receiving and stocking merchandise.
· Receive merchandise for servicing.
· Keep clients informed by notifying them of preferred customer sales and future merchandise of potential interest.
· Manage end-of-day cleaning in store and ensure merchandise is properly displayed
· Provide customer feedback to the Store Manager.
Education and Experience Requirements:
· Entry level experience welcome
· Training will be provided
· The ability to use a cash register with calculation skills
· Strong level of professionalism at work
· Knowledge of inventory stocking procedures
· Excellent communication skills, capable of building trusting relationships
· Ability to perform in fast-paced environments
· Flexibility to work various shifts
Location:
· Tiong Bahru Plaza (PODCORN)
Working Hours + Salary
· Full-time, Permanent
· 6 days a week including Weekend
· 11am - 9pm
· Salary: $2,150 - $2,500 per month + Commission
