Customer Service Executive - Freight Forwarding / NVOCC
Job Description & Requirements
Liaise with clients/carriers/transporters/agents to execute import and export shipments (Sea/Air).
Ensure execution of client requests/requirements and respond to their service issues/enquiries.
Generate booking confirmations, Bill of Ladings and invoices to clients.
Ensure that all jobs are monitored, costs, selling figures are accurately & timely updated in system.
Handle shipping documentation (import / export / BL / documentation / DG application / permit declaration).
Experience in handling Portnet and Trade net usage.
Handling of phone/ email enquiries and bookings. Provide quotation to the customer.
Liaise with internal stakeholders for co-ordination and problem solving.
Any other Ad hoc duties when required.
Qualifications
Excellent interpersonal skills.
Able to work under pressure in a fast changing and demanding environment.
Self-discipline, initiative, responsible and independent.
A good team player with good interpersonal and communication skills.
Meticulous to details.
Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel).
Able to work Overtime (Month end closing)
Min 1 - 2 years of experience in Sea freight (Container Shipping) and familiar with import and export process.
On-Job-Training / Related Job Courses can be provided for suitable candidates who have the right attitude but lacking the correct experience.
