RESPONSIBILITIES
Candidates are expected to:-
- Oversee the full spectrum of financial functions (GL, AR, AP, Fixed Asset, Inventory);
- Lead the preparation of monthly management reports, financial analysis, and provide insights to senior management to support strategic decision-making;
- Prepare and ensure statutory reporting requirements are met;
- Develop and drive annual budgeting, financial planning, and cash-flow forecasting;
- Develop financial models, perform financial due diligence and evaluate potential M&A or investment projects which includes overseeing the deal process, negotiating commercial terms and supporting any other business development;
- Provide guidance to overseas business units in preparation of budgets, analysis and reporting of financial results;
- Lead, mentor and develop a high-performing finance team while collaborating with internal stakeholders to improve and streamline process workflow, internal controls and compliance; and
- Undertake special strategic projects as and when assigned.
REQUIREMENTS
The ideal candidate should preferably possess:-
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field;
- Strong knowledge and experience in IFRS accounting and reporting is highly valued;
- At least 10 years of relevant experience in Investment, Finance, Accounting, Tax or Audit, with at least 5 years in a senior managerial capacity;
- Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and leadership skills;
- Possess strong business acumen and a flair for financial modelling, planning and analysis and problem solving;
- Strong analytical mindset with a strategic perspective and hands-on approach to problem-solving;
- Experience in end-to-end M & A activities, investment analysis, and deal structuring will be an added advantage; and
- Committed and self-driven individual with good stress management.
