We are seeking a highly motivated Bioinformatics Specialist to join our Computational Genomics Platform team. In this role, you will contribute to cutting-edge research projects, collaborate with cross-functional teams and leverage your expertise to advance the research and development of genomics. The ideal candidate will combine strong technical skills with the ability to work effectively across multiple research groups, to support and accelerate scientific discovery through computational approaches.

Duties and Responsibilities
- Develop, implement and maintain bioinformatics workflows and pipelines for the analysis of large-scale genomics data including but not limited to WGS/WES, RNASeq, single-cell sequencing, metagenomics, at Nanopore sequencing et al.
- Provide expert consultation and support on the data analysis strategies and results interpretation to generate meaningful insights and scientific discoveries.
- Collaborate closely with research and development teams to optimize data processing workflows and implement new analytical methods.
- Maintain and update documentation for computational protocols and standard operating procedures.
- Bachelors degree in Bioinformatics, Computational Biology, Computer Science, or related fields.
- Proficient in working language with Python and/or R. Good knowledge of bioinformatics workflow languages such as Nextflow or Snakemake.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Hands-on experience in NGS data analysis will be a plus.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
