Logistics Assistant

Responsibilities:

Receive cargo/goods from truckers.
Sort cargo/goods according to shipment destinations.
Ensure all stacked cargo/goods are securely stored to prevent damage.
Responsible for cargo/goods movement within the warehouse.
Verify all inbound cargo/goods against supporting documents upon receipt.
Ensure the release of all outbound shipments only upon submission of the required supporting documents by the receiver.
Ensure the receiver acknowledges outbound cargo through proper documentation and confirms goods are in good condition.
Report and document any discrepancies related to inbound and outbound cargo immediately.
Ensure proper coverage and protection of cargo/goods stored outside the warehouse.
General warehouse maintenance.
Provide support to other departments as needed.

Requirements:

Training will be provided. No experience required.
Possess valid forklift license will be an added advantage.
Self-motivated, able to multi-task, work in a fast pace environment and work independently.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
