The Job

Aerospace Welders are the foundation of our repair shop. Their primary responsibility is to ensure a high-quality weld of different alloy metal components together with Gas Tungsten Arc Welding (GTAW) and Tungsten Inert Gas (TIG). This job requires a keen eye for detail, strong commitment, as well as the ability to adhere to all safety regulations.

What You Can Expect of the Job

· You’ll weld different alloy metal components together with Gas Tungsten Arc Welding (GTAW), Tungsten Inert Gas (TIG) - process equipment to repair aircraft.

· You’ll apply SOP in checking and assembling tasks.

· You’ll operate machines for assembling tasks and perform cutting and grinding.

· You’ll operate robotic welding cells.

· You’ll backup and assist repair development of new and existing capabilities.

· Any other ad hoc duties as assigned by Repair Shop Manager

What We Expect of You

· Minimum ‘O’ / ‘N’ level or equivalent.

· At least 3 years of related working experience and minimum 1 year with GTAW welding process experience.

· Possess relevant welding certification standard for fusion welding for Aerospace.

· Candidate with Civil Aviation Aircraft Welding Approval would be of advantage.

· Possess good analytical, troubleshooting and communication skills.

· Able to work independently with excellent multitasking abilities.

· Willing to work overtime if the need arises.
