Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to catering menus, including Asian, Western, and specialty cuisines.

  • Ensure all food items are cooked and presented to company standards.

  • Follow food safety and hygiene regulations in food handling, storage, and preparation.

  • Assist in meal planning, portion control, and ingredient preparation.

  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and cooking equipment.

  • Work efficiently under time constraints, especially during peak hours and large events.

  • Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure smooth and timely food production.

  • Assist in receiving and storing food supplies while managing inventory levels.

  • Ensure waste is minimized through proper food storage and usage.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a cook, preferably in a catering or banquet setting.

  • Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques and cooking methods.

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.

  • Familiarity with food safety and sanitation guidelines (e.g., Food Safety Certification is a plus).

  • Strong teamwork and communication skills.

  • Ability to stand for long periods and lift heavy kitchen equipment or food trays when needed.

  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, based on catering schedules.
