Research Assistant (Psychology/Neuroscience/Medical Sciences)
The Psychology Programme in the School of Social Sciences (SSS) is looking for a Research Assistant to support a research project funded by the Singapore Social Sciences Research Council (SSRC). This project seeks to understand how mid-life psychological and social risk factors are associated with neuroimaging and neuropsychological measures of the brain and longitudinal cognitive health. It also aims to ascertain the role of familial relationships as a buffering factor against age-related neurocognitive decline.
The primary responsibilities of the Research Assistant will be to assist the PI with research project management, literature review, data collection, and all relevant research-related matters in the lab.
Key Responsibilities
Responsible for research project administrative oversight, managing undergraduate student assistants, and liaising with collaborators to ensure adequate progression of the project.
Anticipate and provide pro-active solutions for any problems that may arise.
Responsible for overall research project administration and management.
Job Requirements
A bachelor’s degree in psychology, Neuroscience, Medical Sciences or related fields
Be highly conscientious, responsible, disciplined, and methodical with high standards
Experience with conducting psychological/health related research
A proactive team player with strong interpersonal and communication skills
Experience in research project management and administration
Experience with human neuroimaging and neuropsychological data
Experience in working with older adults
Strong desire to pursue a graduate research degree in the future
