Hiring Primary Math Teachers – Flexible Hours & Islandwide Locations

Flexible Hours | Ages 5-12 | Training & Materials Provided

Join our dynamic team and conduct engagin enrichment lessons using our blended-learning program! Passionate teachers with no experience are welcome to apply. Training and materials will be provided.

Progressive Pay Rate:

  • $20 - $30/hour (1-to-1 sessions)
  • Pay rate increases based on experience, lesson execution, and parent feedback
  • Opportunities for performance-based incentives

What We Look For:

Fun-loving yet firm – Able to retain children’s attention and engage them effectively.

Forward and systematic thinking – Can actively identify a child's needs and break down complex concepts into structured steps rather than relying on assessment books.

Patient, creative & adaptable – Can tailor or be willing to learn different teaching methods to suit different learning needs.

Communicative and responsible – Willing to write a short report summary on what's taught and the child's progress after every lesson (format provided).

Commitment Terms:

  • Lessons are once a week, 1-2 hours per session, and recur weekly.
  • Minimum commitment of 8 months once assigned to a student.
  • For university students: Timing changes due to university terms can be discussed, but teachers are expected to plan their class schedules with their teaching job in mind.
  • Observation and practice sessions for handover are mandatory before officially taking over a student.

Compensation Structure:

We offer a progressive pay rate based on the number of hours taught for each case:

  • First 8 hours taught: $20/hour
  • Next 16 hours taught: $25/hour
  • Subsequent hours: $30/hour

Pay rate will increase sooner based on lesson execution, engagement effectiveness, and parent feedback. Experienced teachers can expect to start off with a higher base rate.
