Key Responsibilities
- Manage the University’s panel of term contractors providing web development service, including vendor exploration and qualification, drafting and organising public tender to appoint term contractors, performance review and renewal.
- Provide strategic planning for the University’s collection of websites/microsites, ensuring that the University's overall web presence is well-organised, coherent and effective.
- Understand operational requirements and objectives from stakeholders and direct term contractors in developing web user journeys and interfaces to achieve them.
- Work with web content contributors to strategically focus content as a key part of the overall user experience.
- Maintain effective working relationships with internal stakeholders as well as external agency partners.
- Provide monthly reports on website performance as well as progress updates on ongoing maintenance efforts and projects.
- Offer expertise and guidance in Web/Digital areas to facilitate business growth and development.
Job Requirements
- Tertiary qualifications in computer science or related field with at least 3 years of relevant experience in website development and project management.
- Experience in developing and maintaining web applications and Content-Management Systems (CMS) (e.g. SharePoint, Drupal).
- Experience in project management and vendor management, procurement experience would be a plus.
- Strong knowledge in SEO/SEM with experience in implementation.
- Strong knowledge of Google Analytics (GA4) and proficient in HTML, CSS, JS and JQuery.
- Understanding and implementation of Salesforce, Generative AI, and GPT is an added advantage.
- Possess positive attitude and accountability.
- Ability to work collaboratively within the team and across teams.
