UWCSEA Dover is looking to hire a Relief School Nurse.

Join UWCSEA as a Relief School Nurse, providing essential coverage for day, night and weekend shifts at our Dover Campus. Able to commit to minimally one to three shifts per week for at least a year, ensuring a caring presence during crucial hours:

  • 11am to 8pm (Monday to Friday)
  • 7.30am to 7.30pm (Saturday & Sunday, including Public Holidays)
  • 7.30pm to 7.30am (Monday to Sunday, including Public Holidays)

Main Responsibilities

  • Reporting to the Head Nurse, the incumbent’s role is to facilitate positive student responses to normal development; promote health and safety; intervene with actual and potential health problems; provide case management services, and actively collaborate with others to promote student and family capacity for adaptation, self-management, self-advocacy and learning.
  • Assist with any other duties, tasks or jobs with similar levels of responsibility and complexity to the assigned job grade as may be reasonably requested by the line manager and/or the College.

Person Specifications

  • State Registered Nurse with the Singapore Nursing Board.
  • Minimum 2 years post obtaining Diploma of Nursing or Degree in Nursing, with at least 1 year of relevant experience.
  • Excellent English (written and spoken) and computer literacy.
  • Experience with child protection and safeguarding an advantage.
  • A committed interest in working with school ag ed children, young people and their families and in providing a professional and caring service to the college.
  • A dedication and willingness for ongoing professional development.
  • Ability to prioritise, multi-task and autonomous decision making in a high pressure environment.
