Position Purpose
The Director ERP (Finance) is responsible for integrating financial processes across ~130 entities, ensuring best practices and compliance. This role requires close collaboration with other workstream leads, including Order to Cash (O2C), Source to Pay (S2P), Project to Profit (P2P), Quote to Project (Q2P), and Hire to Retire (H2R), to ensure ERP functionalities are effectively aligned with business objectives.
Strong stakeholder management is a key aspect of this role, involving active engagement with leadership, finance teams, and implementation partners to address challenges and maintain financial reporting consistency. The role also entails leading regular updates, driving workflow improvements, and ensuring optimised financial processes. Managing a core team of 7 within the R2R workstream, the incumbent provides leadership and fosters continuous enhancements to maximise the ERP system’s impact on financial operations.
Key Accountabilities
1. Requirements Gathering & Process Mapping – Collaborate with business stakeholders to define and document standardized financial processes, ensuring alignment with ERP capabilities and business objectives.
2. Data Migration & Integration – Work closely with data teams to oversee financial data extraction, transformation, and migration, ensuring accuracy and completeness across all jurisdictions.
3. System Configuration & Testing – Partner with ERP consultants to define financial workflows, validate configurations, and conduct thorough end-to-end testing to ensure system integrity and compliance.
4. Training, Change Management & Support – Lead the development and execution of training programs, ensuring user readiness and smooth transition to the new system, while providing post-go-live support.
5. Stakeholder Management & Communication – Maintain active engagement with senior leadership, finance teams, and implementation partners, ensuring clear communication, issue resolution, and alignment on project goals.
6. Mentor and develop a team of 7, providing guidance, coaching, and performance feedback to ensure strong financial process capabilities and ERP adoption.
Formal Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field (CPA/CA preferred).
• Additional certifications in ERP systems (SAP S/4 Hana) are desirable.
Experience
• 8+ years of experience in finance operations with a strong focus on ERP implementation.
• Demonstrated expertise in Record to Report (R2R) processes, financial reporting, and regulatory compliance.
• Proven ability to manage and collaborate with cross-functional teams, including IT, finance, and project management.
• Experience working in a global, multi-entity, and multi-jurisdictional environment.
