Position Overview
Autodesk Data Platform (ADP) provides centralized data and analytics platform for entire Autodesk’s products, services, and business needs. ADP Stream Processing System team is looking for a Software Development Engineer to join a very talented and seasoned engineering team.
Responsibilities
Develop and maintain robust and scalable back-end applications using Java.
Develop and manage data pipelines using Flink and Kafka for real-time data processing and integration
Design, develop, and maintain RESTful APIs to enable seamless interaction between various components of the system
Design and implement microservices
Utilize cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure for deploying and managing applications
Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code, adhering to best practices and coding standards
Conduct unit testing and integration testing to ensure code quality and reliability.
Develop automation for Integration and System testing
Work closely with front-end developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to deliver high-quality solutions
Minimum Qualification
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
Proficiency in Java and related frameworks (e.g., Spring, Hibernate)
Strong knowledge of SQL and experience with databases like PostgreSQL
Experience with Kafka for real-time data streaming
Expertise in designing and implementing RESTful APIs
Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment
Familiarity with containerisation tools like Docker
Knowledge of CI/CD tools and practices
Experience with monitoring and logging tools for cloud services
Experience with Testing frameworks
Java and related frameworks (e.g., Spring, Hibernate)
SQL and databases like PostgreSQL, MySQL, or Oracle
Kafka and Flink for real-time data streaming
RESTful APIs design and implementation
Cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud
Containerisation tools (e.g., Docker) (Preferred)
CI/CD tools and practices (Preferred)
Monitoring and logging tools for cloud services (Preferred)
Analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication skills
