
Logistics Support Assistant, Billing Department
Basic Function
The incumbent will be part of the logistics team to contribute to the objectives of good cash management and control of expenses. The candidate will be responsible for billing and invoicing. He or she will ensure that invoicing is executed timely to ensure job files are closed effectively and be responsible in supplier invoice verification.
Principle Duties & Responsibilities
Ensure invoices and bills are prepared and provided to clients timely in accordance to set invoice lead-time
Ensure client’s and customer’s billing requirements are met depending on the job file
Ensure information is correct for billing and invoicing accuracy
Ensure data entries are cleared within set KPIs
To input the invoicing information in the system for invoice generation
To liaise and coordinate with Operations and Customer Service teams with regards to invoicing details for respective jobs and customers.
Look into process efficiency including invoicing SOPs as per requirements by customer and company.
Perform supplier invoice verification to ensure accuracy of invoices received.
Ensure proper filing and safe keeping of all completed job files as required in service level agreement
Ensure client's and customer's billing requirements are met depending on the job file

Requirements
Diploma or O level
Background in billing and invoicing with logistics/General Freight is ideal.
Experience is invoicing activities.
Meticulous and attention to details
Able to work under tight timeline.
