Project Assistant
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Project Assistant to support our team in the successful execution of construction and interior design projects. The ideal candidate will play a key role in project management, ensuring seamless communication among stakeholders and maintaining project schedules, budgets, and documentation.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Project Management Support
- Assist in developing project schedules and tracking timelines.
- Coordinate and schedule meetings between clients, designers, and contractors.
- Monitor project progress, identify potential delays, and support issue resolution.
2. Design and Material Coordination
- Collaborate with interior designers to transform concepts into actionable plans.
- Review design layouts, materials, and finishes to align with project requirements.
- Conduct research and source appropriate materials, furnishings, and fixtures.
- Responsible for logistic to coordinate transportation, materials, and equipment
3. Financial and Resource Oversight
- Assist in preparing and monitoring project budgets to ensure financial compliance.
- Track project expenses and report any discrepancies or cost overruns.
4. Documentation and Regulatory Compliance
- Maintain accurate project records, contracts, and approvals.
- Prepare progress reports and provide regular updates to stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with local construction regulations, safety standards, and codes.
5. Communication and Team Coordination
- Serve as a liaison between clients, designers, contractors, and internal teams.
- Facilitate smooth communication and assist in conflict resolution.
- Provide administrative and operational support to the project team to achieve project objectives.
Qualifications:
- Diploma or Degree in a relevant field.
- Previous experience in a project coordination or administrative role within the construction industry.
- Interior design background knowledge is required.
- Strong understanding of construction processes, materials, and industry standards.
- Strong problem-solving skills to address site-related challenges effectively.
- Ability to work independently, demonstrate initiative, and meet project deadlines.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills.
