Senior / Manager, Marketing & Events
The Senior / Manager, Marketing & Events drives DPH’s mission through strategic marketing and impactful fundraising events. This role focuses on stakeholder engagement, developing marketing plans, and executing events that raise funds and educate the community. Combining creativity with analytical thinking, the candidate will refine outreach strategies and enhance campaign effectiveness for sustained growth.
Roles & Responsibilities:
Strategic Planning & Leadership
Develop and implement comprehensive marketing strategies (both ATL and BTL) to promote events and fundraising initiatives and overseeing the creation of promotional materials, including digital content, print collateral, and other marketing assets
Event Management
Plan, coordinate, and execute a variety of fundraising events, ensuring alignment with organizational goals. Ensure the event is with in marketing budget, and optimal allocation of resources for various campaigns and events
Stakeholder & Partnership Management
Establish and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including but not limited to donors, sponsors, and community partners
Staff Development & Leadership
Lead and mentor a team of marketing and event professionals, fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment
Qualification & Requirements:
- Degree in Marketing, Communications or a related field
- 5 years of experience in marketing, fundraising, or event management
- 3 to 4 years in a managerial role
- Proven track record of developing and implementing successful marketing/fundraising plans with performance linked to measurable outcomes
- Strong leadership and team management skills; able to work well both independently and with others
