Become an integral part of our renowned team at Nishikane as a Chef de Partie, where you'll play a key role in delivering exceptional dishes while upholding the highest standards of kitchen excellence. Working closely with our Executive and Head Chefs, you will ensure smooth operations from food preparation through to service in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist with daily kitchen operations, ensuring food quality standards are consistently maintained.
Supervise the preparation of ingredients and dishes, ensuring they’re ready for service.
Manage stock ordering, inventory control, and conduct regular stock takes.
Adhere to proper food storage, labeling, and safety protocols to reduce waste.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workstation at all times.
Inspect deliveries from suppliers to ensure the highest quality standards.
Support and mentor junior kitchen staff, helping them uphold company standards.
Foster a collaborative, positive, and efficient team environment.
What We’re Looking For:
Minimum of 3 years of experience in a kitchen setting.
Strong culinary expertise with a passion for producing high-quality food.
Proven experience working in a high-energy kitchen.
A proactive approach to maintaining cleanliness and safety.
Ability to work well within a team and train junior staff.
A professional, dedicated attitude towards team success and restaurant excellence.
Able to start work immediately or within a short notice period would be preferred.
Able to work on weekends and public holidays.
