Job Purpose:
The role is responsible for achieving sales through the delivery of operational and customer service excellence in the store. In order to provide seamless customer experience in the store, the incumbent is required to upkeep the store, handle customers’ queries including providing after-sales service, and manage point-of-sales processes.
Responsibilities:
Receive, verify, and display goods with proper price tagging.
Manage product recalls, orders, refunds, and exchanges.
Maintain a tidy and obstruction-free store layout.
Report stock levels, fast/slow-moving items, and potential shoplifting.
Perform regular cleaning and uphold store hygiene standards.
Answer phone inquiries and support daily sales targets.
Offer polite, proactive customer service.
Understand customer needs and recommend suitable products.
Resolve customer complaints effectively and follow up on solutions.
Adhere to company communication and service guidelines.
Suggest improvements for customer service processes.
Process purchase payments and inform customers of promotions.
Ensure accurate daily cash collection and report discrepancies.
Perform any additional tasks assigned by management.
Requirements:
• GCE ‘O’ level or Certificate in Retail Operation
• At least 1 to 2 years retail experience preferably dealing with household items or products.
• Good customer service focus and able to adapt/respond to emergent difficult situations.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Able to multi-tasks, prioritize and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Good personality and well groomed.
