  1. Make sure the webpage is open.

  4. Click Websites.
  5. On the left, click Content Blockers.
  6. Make sure Off is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.
  7. On the left, click Pop-up Windows.
  8. Make sure Allow is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.

Service Coordinator

Key Job Responsibilities:

  • Create new service project job number in ERP.
  • Assess the customer request and offer advice on the right solution depending on the maintenance contract / warranty.
  • Collaborate with the Field Service Engineers’ / Supervisor to determine the number of hours, personnel, and parts and equipment needed for service visits.
  • Prepare job order and vessel schedules to Service Engineers with complete work instruction of the assignments and process everything in the relevant systems.
  • Hold a debriefing with the Service Engineer(s) regarding the work schedule.
  • Inform customers of service work progress and handle all communication related to services requests with customers.
  • Ensure proper documentation of work done & manage invoice settlement without delay.
  • You approach customers proactively to optimize the order book.
  • Assist Manager draft quotation to customer’ enquiries and manage all customers' enquiries professionally and timely. (e.g. sending service reports and other documents follow up etc.).
  • Provide project management support to service managers to assist in managing service projects, attend customer meetings etc.
  • Partner with the Sales Department for possible sales opportunities.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety & environment regulations.
  • Other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the department.
  • Purchasing background experience in handling MTU engines.

Authorities

  • Point of contact for customer requests, scheduling & dispatching service technicians, assessing the urgency of the customer's call.
  • Calculate, prepare, and send out service quotations and technical proposals and ensure that enquiries are turned into job orders.
  • Manage service work hours optimally so that there are no excess manhour billings.

Minimum Qualifications and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree / Diploma in Electrical, Electronics / Automation, and instrumentation Engineering.
  • Must possess 2-3 years of experience in the service coordination roles.
  • Excellent academics and technical knowledge in marine field.
  • Should be able to read, write & speak in English.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Computer proficiency, MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), ERP (SAP) are advantages.
  • Required to work beyond normal office working hours.
