Field Application Engineer
We are looking for a candidate committed to driving sustainability and reducing carbon emissions within the built environment. By leveraging our ENX Sustainability AI platform, we make this possible by integrating IoT sensors and intelligent controls to achieve comprehensive energy monitoring, optimization of ACMV (Air-Conditioning and Mechanical Ventilation) systems, plug loads, and lighting, management of air quality, water quality, and occupancy, as well as monitoring data center infrastructure and providing real-time reporting of sustainability KPIs.
The ENX Sustainability AI features a modular architecture, designed for deployment either as a cloud-based Building Management System (BMS) for new developments or as an Energy Management System (EMS) for existing office spaces and warehouses, seamlessly integrating with existing BMS setups. Our technology has empowered clients to achieve up to forty percent reduction in energy consumption.
What You’ll Do:
- Field Deployment: Collaborate with the Design Engineering team to interpret detailed drawings, Bill of Materials (BOM) and Scope of Works (SOW). Lead project deployments by planning, coordinating, and implementing projects at client jobsites, including site assessments and subcontractor management, as well as overseeing the installation and configuration of devices and sensors. Ensure accurate documentation of project progress, findings, and provide recommendations for improvement opportunities. Provide technical training sessions on the operation and maintenance of our systems to our end-user and clients.
- Data Analysis & Field Technical Support: Analyse and interpret data collected from various equipment, devices and sensors, including Building Management Systems (BMS), BTU meters, IAQ Sensors, electrical meters, and various PLCs. Provide on-site technical support, maintenance services, troubleshooting and assisting our client with any technical queries or concerns. Working closely with the Helpdesk team to address and resolve on-site issues efficiently.
What We’re Looking For:
- Degree or higher in Building, Civil/Mechanical/Electrical/ Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electronics or equivalent.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in Engineering/IT, preferably in Building Services or Industrial Automation
- Good knowledge of automation, SCADA, PLCs, Building Management Systems (BMS), M&E systems, RTU devices and networking equipment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with contractors/customers, providing them with the best possible technical support.
- Strong passion for technology, the ability to work independently, highly organized and detail-oriented.
- Willingness to travel for on-site project work across Singapore and Johor, Malaysia.
- 5-day work week
